Our new series, “Forward,” will take us through nine key qualities of a growing, fruitful disciple. As we aspire to a greater, more exciting walk with Jesus, we can take active steps towards growing deeper in our relationship with Him.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—3if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
– 1 Peter 2:2,3

We know that our relationship with God grows and becomes deeper and more meaningful when we go deeper into the Word. To challenge us to develop that discipline and desire to read God’s Word, we invite everyone to participate in our 21-Day Bible Reading Challenge!

Join us and commit to going deeper in the Word every day for the next three weeks! You will be asked to do the following:

  • Set a time and place to read the Bible every day.
  • Commit to using our Reading Plan, based on Psalm 119.
  • Use a notebook and pen (or your preferred device and software) to record insights.
  • Practice S.O.A.P.:
    • Scripture—Read a portion of Scripture slowly and thoughtfully.
    • Observation—Reflect on the Word. What does the Word say about God and the people in the passage?
    • Application—Apply the Word. Does it reveal an attitude to change, a sin to forsake, a specific promise to claim, an
    • example to follow, a command to obey? What did you learn from this passage, and how will you apply it in your life?
    • Prayer—Respond to the Word in prayer.

Biyaheng Semana Santa

holy week

Holy Week has become a major religious culture for the Filipinos. Year after year, people close out offices, schools and open up to the streets and mountain sides to celebrate rituals that, according to passed down belief, help us inherit eternal life.

The Bible is clear about the way to eternal life, and it is not a ritual, nor is it a religion. It is a person- Jesus Christ.

This series, we look into the revelation of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and it’s implications on us, in this age and the age to come. Get ready for Biyaheng Semana Santa!

Here is the list of weekly topics:

Week one: Balic-Balic (“Holy Week’”)

Week two: Paco (“Sakripisyo”)

Week three: Bagong Pag-Asa (“Patay ang Diyos”)

Simple

Victory exists for two things: to honor God, and to make disciples. At the beginning of the year, we all learned what it means to honor God in everything that we do and with everything that we are.

The application was clear, that God should be the center of everything that we do. This time, join us as we look into what discipleship means, and what it takes to be one and to make one. Discipleship is simple, and it is for everyone!

BC: The Christmas Series

The Christmas season is not only a time to celebrate the gifts, not buenas and family reunions.

As wonderful and God-honoring as these things are, the main thing at this time should always be to remember the great promise of redemption, marked by the birth of Jesus here on earth.
