Our new series, “Forward,” will take us through nine key qualities of a growing, fruitful disciple. As we aspire to a greater, more exciting walk with Jesus, we can take active steps towards growing deeper in our relationship with Him.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—3if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
– 1 Peter 2:2,3

We know that our relationship with God grows and becomes deeper and more meaningful when we go deeper into the Word. To challenge us to develop that discipline and desire to read God’s Word, we invite everyone to participate in our 21-Day Bible Reading Challenge!

Join us and commit to going deeper in the Word every day for the next three weeks! You will be asked to do the following:

  • Set a time and place to read the Bible every day.
  • Commit to using our Reading Plan, based on Psalm 119.
  • Use a notebook and pen (or your preferred device and software) to record insights.
  • Practice S.O.A.P.:
    • Scripture—Read a portion of Scripture slowly and thoughtfully.
    • Observation—Reflect on the Word. What does the Word say about God and the people in the passage?
    • Application—Apply the Word. Does it reveal an attitude to change, a sin to forsake, a specific promise to claim, an
    • example to follow, a command to obey? What did you learn from this passage, and how will you apply it in your life?
    • Prayer—Respond to the Word in prayer.

The Heart Truth

Valentines is approaching, and people all over the globe are looking forward to the “Love Month.” Although, one question we must ask ourselves is “Is the popular world-view of love congruent with the Bible’s definition of love?”

The goal of this series is to have an understanding of love and a greater persuasion of God’s design and plan for marriage that will cause people to have altruistic relationships and resilient marriages in the midst of a culture that counters the truth.

Week 1 – Real Love

Week 2 – Real Marriage

Join us in our worship services for our new series- The Heart Truth! Schedule of services are 10AM in Amigo Hotel, Iznart Street and 9AM, 11AM, 4PM and 6PM in Paseo de Arcangeles, Mandurriao.

It’s Christmas time once again! Join us this December as we learn more about who Jesus is as our Savior and Lord in our Christmas series, Unboxed. Behind The Seen

For everyone who’s watched a movie (and most probably that is everyone), we all come to appreciate a film for what it is, however not many recognize, or even thank the people behind the film. Usually the end credits where all the names of the people who worked hard to make the movie a reality is our cue for us to leave the movie house.

But without a shadow of a doubt, a film, theater play or event will not be possible if not for the people who work from the background. Many people work behind the scene to have a production. In the same way, the Holy Spirit is the person behind the miracles in the stories discussed in the series.

For the next four weeks, we will be looking into the person and work of the Holy Spirit as:

ENAct: Every Nation in Action

Victory Iloilo is a local church that is a part of one church across different locations- Victory Philippines. Victory is also a subset of a bigger umbrella called Every Nation. As a movement across the whole globe, Every Nation is an organization that exists to establish Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.

Every Nation in Action

Every Nation in Action

This is in line with the mandate Christ gave to the disciples, and subsequently to us, right before He left earth, “Go and make disciples in all nations.” In this series, ENAct, we see Every Nation in action.

We look into stories in the early church as recorded in Acts, and see how we as a movement have been called by God to specific areas. At the end of this series our people will grasp and be inspired to actively participate in the Every Nation mission.

Get ready for our latest series, ENAct, as we look into Every Nation in ACTION!

What You Shouldn’t Miss at the ENC Iloilo Youth Service

“Life is meaningless apart from a relationship with God.” This encompasses my great experience during the launching of Every Nation Campus Iloilo’s youth service last July 31. At last, the time has come after two years of praying!

Youth Service Jamming

245 students worshiping Jesus.

We prepared a month before the event. During the process, unavoidable challenges happened yet this motivated the students to aim for excellence in their service through their respective ministries; admin, communications, music, production, tech and ushering. As the launch was approaching, we were getting more excited to invite our friends, so we actively spread the news at our campuses and even through social media.

The 5-minute countdown finally began yet we were quite anxious seeing only about half of the chairs occupied. The youth service was opened by some of the Central Philippine University students giving their dance intermission. Then gradually, students were simultaneously coming in the center which eventually became jam-packed just in time for the music team to lead them to a powerful praise and worship.

Youth Service Launch Fun and Games

The night was full of fun and games for ENC Students

Praise God for the 245 students, almost a hundred beyond our expected number, who joined us in this event. We had a game called “Tindero” that successfully broke the ice and caught the students’ attention for the Word. The topic of the message was Campus Life Hacks which was delivered by Coach Francis Cordova through giving some tips not just for the freshmen but for all the students.

After the message, students broke into groups and started discussing what they learned from the preaching. CPU, UPV, JBLFMU, WVSU, ISAT U, USA, UI, WIT, ABE, Bethany Life Center Academy, INHS, ICNHS, Lapaz National Highschool, and St. Therese College were the campuses represented that night.

Life Groups

It feels so great to witness what God is doing in the lives of the students and in this city. This is just the beginning and we’re praying for these and more students to be discipled. Last month’s youth service was a blast and I’m excited to praise God together with other students this coming August 28. I don’t want to miss this.

At the end of the day, I am reminded that it is all about God. Everything in this world is vain apart from God and having a relationship with Him.

Don’t miss this month’s Youth Service as we jam together with you and your friends! The next youth service will be on August 28, 2015
